This training provides Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) and Certified Peer Recovery Coaches (CPRC) with a trauma-informed understanding of how lived experiences of trauma can impact thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and participation in group settings. Participants will explore the principles of trauma-informed and healing-centered peer support and learn practical strategies for creating emotionally safe, inclusive, and empowering group environments.
