So Many Roads: A Multiple Pathways Training

Explore new pathways in your recovery journey with our interactive online training. Learn how different recovery routes can support your personal growth and those you serve. Through collaboration and self-reflection, you’ll uncover and share pathways you may not have realized were part of your recovery. Join us for a session of discovery and connection.
Training Objectives:
- Better understand many different groups that support multiple pathways.
- Learn about the history of mutual aid groups.
- Self-discover all the pathways you have used to support your recovery.
- Be able to help the people you serve build a roadmap of their own unique recovery pathway.
Trainers:
Andrew Brown (LLMSW, CPRC, CPRM) is a clinical social worker, recovery coach, and person in long-term recovery. He is passionate about a multiple pathways approach to recovery and is deeply committed to harm reduction. Andrew is also dedicated to expanding and improving services to ensure that resources are accessible for all individuals seeking help with substance-related issues.
Priscilla Shafor (BS, CADC, CPRC, CPRM, RCPF) is a person in long-term recovery with over 20 years of experience working with individuals impacted by substance use disorders and involvement in the justice system. Her work focuses on expanding access to recovery support and empowering people to make informed choices about their recovery paths.
She is a contracted trainer with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), providing continuing education for Peer Recovery Coaches. Priscilla also holds the Recovery Coach Professional Facilitator (RCPF) designation through the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR), authorizing her to facilitate all (CCAR) curricula. Her facilitation style blends lived experience with professional expertise and is grounded in a deep commitment to recovery-oriented systems of care.

Please note that this form takes up to 5 business days for processing, and registration is not assured until we receive the check, and you receive a confirmation of your registration.
Cancellation Policy: Registrations may be transferred to another employee of the same agency upon written request to registration@mipeers.org. Cancellations must be received in writing at least 12 days prior to the date of the training. Failure to cancel registration within the allotted time will result in registration fees being forfeited. Attendance Policy: You must attend the entire training. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will not be allowed to attend as part of the CE requirements. Please note there is absolutely NO driving during the training. If you are driving while attending the training, you will be removed from the training for your own safety. Training guidelines must be read, signed, and returned back to the office before a zoom link is sent to the participant. Attendees must follow the training guidelines.
