Are you passionate about peer support, recovery, and advancing best practices in the field? The Annual Michigan Peer Conference is seeking engaging and insightful presentations for our upcoming event on April 22-23, 2027, at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, MI.
We invite proposals that align with our conference goals, including:
Promoting statewide collaboration and partnerships in peer services Expanding creative and effective peer-led wellness tools Enhancing self-advocacy and social justice awareness Showcasing best, promising, and evidence-based practices Increasing knowledge and skills in multiple recovery pathways
Successful proposals will:
Clearly outline learning objectives Align with conference goals Feature presenters with lived experience in leading or co-leading roles
These TED Talk- style mini sessions are designed to be warm, empowering, thought-provoking, and grounding in lived experience. We’re looking for speakers who can deliver big ideas in short, captivating bursts through their own personal insights, innovative practices, or transformative lessons learned.
Presentations should be concise, creative, and thought-provoking, leaving attendees with a clear takeaway or new perspective.

We will be grouping three presenters together. We will be selecting presentations that share a similar message and/or theme.
Topics we are interested in:
Full length sessions must be 1.5 hours long with no session breaks and should meet continuing education (CE) eligibility criteria in areas such as integrated health and wellness skills, ethics, and multiple pathways to recovery.
The annual peer conference aims to provide the peer workforce with opportunities to receive continuing education credits. In crafting seminars and workshops, please follow the MDHHS CE eligibility criteria outlined below:
