Training Overview:

“…This is the solstice, the still point of the sun, its cusp and midnight, the year’s threshold and unlocking, where the past lets go of and becomes the future; the place of caught breath, the door of a vanished house left ajar…” ― Margaret Atwood

The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and a day of new beginnings and life-enriching endings. It is a beautiful time to nurture your potential and express your creative energy. We will work with the principles of Intention, Attention, and Attitude. By stepping out of your normal routine to observe silence, sit in meditation, and explore mindful movements we will prepare ourselves to move more confidently into the rest of the year. Mindful silence can be a powerful and restorative experience, whether you are new to these practices or a seasoned practitioner. In that spirit, we would love to have you join us for a day of creating space for renewal, abundance, and manifestation.

Before the day begins, we will send you instructions for creating a sanctuary in your home. During the day, we will slowly guide you through practices that will expand your ability to settle and soften. If you are new to mindfulness, you will be given options to ease in and out. If you already have an established meditation practice, this will be a day of deepening.

How to prepare:

  • Wear loose comfortable clothing.
  • Have a water bottle and snacks available.
  • Arrange to keep technology to a minimum so that you can truly settle into the day.
  • Have blankets, cushions, and mats available for comfort.
  • There will be a 60-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks during the day.
  • Suspend judgment and meet the day with curiosity.
