Description
This workshop is focused on learning how to incorporate indigenous cultural traditions and interact in Tribal communities for effective delivery of recovery services. Information in this workshop is derived from 3 years of purposeful experience in interacting on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe Reservation in Isabella County. The workshop will utilize a Power Point slide presentation, experiential based guidance from Peer 360 staff members who lead our Healing Forest initiative. Insights will be provided regarding the Wellbriety movement, and lessons learned about how to overcome being “outsiders”. Questions during this workshop are highly encouraged.
