Description
Life can be difficult in the best of times, workplace stress, family stress, and the stress we put on ourselves to constantly be more and get more done. Add in the responsibilities of supporting others when they are struggling, and you can have a recipe for stress and burnout.
Mindfulness and Self-Compassion meet us where we are and give us tools to work with our suffering right in the moment. Several formal practices will be provided including sitting meditation and mindful Yoga. Extensive research has shown that mindfulness approaches build our resilience and ability to be more calm, engaged, and able to respond with empathy and kindness.
