This training is designed to provide the foundation for individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders to act in the national movement to elevate voices of lived experience. We will explore the history of stereotypes and stigma and how that has changed us in our experiences. We will also explore elements of hope and resiliency and how they function as a counterbalance to stigma. You will leave the training with a new set of languages, educational talking points, and a message of hope to deliver to your community.
