
We are creatures of habit. Research shows that more than 40% of the things we do each day are not decisions but habits. In this training, we’ll start by looking at what habits are and then tackle the ways mindfulness can help us cultivate habits of wellbeing and break habits that are holding us back.
Mindfulness is a powerful tool to help us recognize and step out of autopilot. With mindfulness we can learn to use our knowledge of habit formation to create the habits we want and let go of the habits that aren’t serving us.

Carol has been teaching the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) since 2008 and has led hundreds of students through the program. Her classes emphasize safety and self-honoring as she guides students to build resilience and strengthen their mindfulness skills.

Cancellation Policy: Registrations may be transferred to another employee of the same agency upon written request to registration@mipeers.org. Attendance Policy: You must attend the entire training. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will not be allowed to attend as part of the CE requirements. Please note there is absolutely NO driving during the training. If you are driving while attending the training, you will be removed from the training for your own safety. Training guidelines must be read, signed, and returned back to the office before a zoom link is sent to the participant. Attendees must follow the training guidelines.
