Exploring the practices and benefits of Nature-based recovery. Explore how being in Nature, Nature-based activity, and Nature-based Spirituality attune us to physical health, inner wholeness, something greater than ourselves, and the interconnectedness of life. Learn ways to develop a personal relationship with Nature through intentional, ancestral practices.
Learning Objectives:
- Multiple Pathways education and exposure.
- Learn several ways to connect with nature in a meaningful way.
- Learn the health benefits of being in nature (including physical activity).
- Learn how to create intentional, personal practice and ritual in and with nature to enhance one’s spiritual recovery journey.
- Learn how to share nature-based options with those we serve.
