SUMMARY:Improving Your Self Talk

Improving Your Self-Talk will help you do that very thing. This training will tell you how to “catch it\, check it\, change it.” It will allow you to be in the “driver’s seat” of your own head (for the most part). \n  \nParticipants will: \n\nExplore practical ways to stop unhelpful internal dialogue\, allowing peers to show up more centered\, calm\, and grounded when supporting others.\nLearn strategies for cultivating an encouraging inner voice\, so peers can model hope\, confidence\, resilience\, and self-compassion for the individuals they serve.\nDiscover how shifts in sub modalities impact self-talk and emotional state\, giving peers concrete tools they can use—and teach—to create more empowering thinking patterns.\nPractice methods for improving self-talk to support emotional well-being\, helping peers reduce overwhelm\, maintain balance\, and prevent compassion fatigue. \n\n  \nMeet the Trainer: \nChuck Hendrix is a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS)\, Certified Life Coach\, NLP Practitioner\, and a Board-Certified Hypnotherapist.
