SUMMARY:RAM Center (Higgins Lake)- Leading with Conviction
DESCRIPTION:This practical\, peer-driven session helps participants strengthen their leadership voice and skills\, clarify their influence\, and lead with purpose and integrity in real time. \nObjectives \n\nParticipants will identify their core leadership values and practice naming how those values guide decisions\, boundaries\, and influence change.\nParticipants will apply peer-centered leadership skills; collaboration\, transparency\, and relational accountability to real scenarios drawn from lived experience.\nParticipants will rehearse steady\, conviction-based responses to common leadership challenges\, including conflict\, role clarity\, and navigating power with integrity.\n\nTrainers: \nTamra Oman is a national speaker\, consultant\, and group facilitator. She believes deeply in cultivating a culture of hope\, healing\, and compassion for all. She was the first “peer/consumer” to be hired in the state of Wisconsin to work in a correctional facility. Ms. Oman uses humor and compassion to connect with her audience. She brings a unique perspective based on her own personal and professional experiences.\n \nPaula Buege is a fierce advocate for rights and dignity for people to make their own decisions. Currently she works directly with individuals and families who have children experiencing social/emotional/mental health and substance use challenges. Do not use this form if you are paying by credit/debit card. Please note that this form takes up to 5 business days for processing\, and placement is not assured until you receive a confirmation of your registration. \nCancellation Policy: Registrations may be transferred to another employee of the same agency upon written request to registration@mipeers.org. Cancellations must be received in writing at least 12 days prior to the date of the training. Failure to cancel registration within the allotted time will result in registration fees being forfeited. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will not be allowed to attend as part of the CE requirements. Breaks are built into the training schedule. Participants who miss more than 10 minutes of the training outside of scheduled breaks will not receive CE credit. Attendees must follow the training guidelines.
