SUMMARY:Mastering Forgiveness
DESCRIPTION:I know you have experienced the fact that “we are our own worst critic.” The hardest person you will have to forgive is yourself. Why is that? Wouldn’t it be great for you to be able to forgive yourself for mistakes you have made in the past? Imagine how good you will feel when you are able to forgive yourself! \nParticipants will: \n\nReflect on peer’s individual experiences that may make self-forgiveness feel difficult\, and consider what support looks like for them.\n\n\nExplore separate ways of understanding forgiveness and notice which perspectives feel most helpful or empowering.\n\n\nShare and hear peer-supported approaches to forgiveness that respect readiness\, choice\, and personal boundaries.\n\n\nLook at their life experiences through a wider lens and notice strengths\, growth\, and resilience along the way.\nConnect with hope-building thoughts that support peer’s vision for their future.\n\nTalk through common beliefs about forgiveness and decide which ones support their wellness and which ones they may want to let go of.\n\nTrainer: \nChuck Hendrix is a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS)\, Certified Life Coach\, NLP Practitioner\, and a Board-Certified Hypnotherapist. He has been studying personal growth for more than 25 years. He is always developing special trainings to further the impact that CPSS and Recovery Coaches can make with those they work with. Chuck is known for his unique communication style that is both engaging and funny. You won’t want to miss this training. \nEligible for 4.5 MDHHS Continuing Education credits. \nONLY if you need to pay by check\, please complete this form (click here) and email it to: registration@mipeers.org. Do not use this form if you are paying by credit/debit card. \nCancellation Policy: Registrations may be transferred to another employee of the same agency upon written request to registration@mipeers.org.
