You’ve been in that situation or had that conversation and you took something personally. You know the kind of situation where your feelings were hurt. Imagine what it would be like to have the tools to Quit Taking It Personally. How much healthier would you be if you could Quit Taking It Personally? This is the training for you! \nParticipants will: \n\nMaintain healthy boundaries and emotional resilience while working through challenging conversations\, thereby preventing burnout\, and sustaining your ability to serve.\nFoster a healing environment where clients feel heard and supported\, not judged—helping them move toward recovery\, community\, integration and long-term wellness.\nUse insight into your own experience and emotional triggers to better empathize with those you support—so you can offer genuine compassion without taking their words personally.\nFacilitate recovery-oriented conversations more effectively by staying calm\, centered and present even when clients express frustration\, anger or blame.\nRole-model emotional health\, equipping clients with practical tools to manage their own feelings of being “taken personally”—which supports their recovery\, stability\, and growth.\n\nAbout the trainer:\nChuck Hendrix is a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS)\, Certified Life Coach\, an NLP Practitioner\, and a Board-Certified Hypnotherapist. He has been studying personal growth for more than 25 years. He is always developing special trainings to further the impact that CPSS and Recovery Coaches can make with those they work with. Chuck is known for his unique communication style that is both engaging and funny. You won’t want to miss this training. \nEligible for 4.5 MDHHS Continuing Education credits. This is a virtual training.
